Minute books & official records
Board and council minute books, deeds and maps, and other official records Louisiana offices are required to keep.
High-speed document scanning in Baton Rouge and across Louisiana — minute books, payroll files, medical and court records scanned, indexed and made searchable.
Boxed files in a storage room don't help anyone. Scanned and indexed, every page is available the moment someone needs it — from one desk or many.
ImageTek of Louisiana operates a full-service scanning bureau in Baton Rouge. We collect your documents, prepare them, scan them on high-speed production scanners, make the text searchable and deliver clean images ready for LaserFiche, PDF or hosted web access. Organizations of every size use us to archive their annual records — and many later bring scanning in-house on their own LaserFiche system.
Every project includes preparation, indexing, quality control and a documented chain of custody, so your records are handled carefully from pickup to delivery.
If it's on paper — or on film — we can make it digital. Typical projects include:
Board and council minute books, deeds and maps, and other official records Louisiana offices are required to keep.
Payroll files, general ledgers, and accounts payable and receivable records from past fiscal years.
Medical records for hospitals, clinics and government agencies — scanned for fast review by physicians and staff.
Court documents, student records and human resource files — plus anything else your office files on paper.
Five steps, each one handled by our own scanning service team.
We collect your files and prepare them for scanning — removing fasteners, sorting and organizing pages so nothing is missed.
Production scanners capture every page — from standard letter documents to large-format records.
Pages become searchable text, and each document is indexed the way you search — by name, number, date or file.
Images are checked for legibility and completeness before anything leaves our shop.
Searchable PDFs, images loaded into your LaserFiche system, or published to hosted web access — your choice.
Most organizations need both, in this order — and both start with a free quote.
A backfile conversion scans your accumulated archive once — years or decades of paper turned into a searchable digital library. Once the backfile is converted, the paper can be returned, archived or destroyed after conversion, and the storage space comes back to you.
After the backfile is done, day-forward scanning keeps it that way: new documents are scanned as they're created, on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule that fits your office. The digital record stays current and the paper pile never returns.
Hospitals and clinics, banks and credit unions, title companies, insurers, engineering firms and ordinary businesses trust us with their archives too. If staff spend time hunting for paper, we can help.
Our scanning service is built for organizations whose records must be found fast and kept safe:
